I was surprised to hear the tragic news yesterday from my friend Shingo Tomimitsu that the singer from his band Epidemic Cause, Kengo Shimamoto, died on January 3rd, 2006 this week. He was not only a great vocalist, but a great person and I wished I had gotten to know him better than I did. My condolences to his family and friends everywhere. His unique personality and talents will be greatly missed. R.I.P. - May you finally be at peace, wherever you are.
